Kumu Hula
Maile Cruz

Maile Cruz, transplanted from Oahu, has studied hula since 1979. She taught hula
class and became a professional performer since 1980. Maile's dedication to her dance arts has been rewarding to her. Maile's
strict adherence to hula and dance principles is demonstrated with her teaching style and performance. With the support of her husband Robert, she balances her hula activities while raising her young family.
